Author of Australia’s very own inspirational coffee table book Because She Can.
Marina Brbot was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia and moved to Prince George British Columbia Canada with her family, Croatian migrants that chose to migrate once again, when Marina was a teenager. Moving back to Melbourne in her early 20s. Eventually Getting Married and having her son.

It was after her son had graduated from high school, that she was ready to reevaluate her life, step out of her comfort zone, put her fears behind her and unleash the creative urge that was buried deep within her soul.
Realising that it was time to take her passion for photography ( Marina is also an award winning photographer). and fascination with women, women that collectively not only believed in a cause and chose to practice their values, but also contributed to our world in a positive way.

“I came to realise that the difference between living in a country and living in the most liveable countries in the world is having the presence of unstoppable women that contribute to those that need it most.”

These 30 women in my book did just that. Coming from diverse cultures , religions and backgrounds they were all some how fundamentally the same, passionate about helping humankind.”
Marina made it her mission to give them a voice and a platform through her innovative vision, along with her images by putting them under the cover of one book.

"Creativity was something I was born with.  The time had come to take my dreams and desires away from the pillow case where they stayed each night, it was time to commit".
I wanted my first book to inspire people, Giving them a capacity to learn, The willingness to achieve and The ability to make a difference.

Thus Because She Can was born.

Today Marina is about to launch her second book, Choose to Climb Dare to Fly...  and is inspiring others with her Speaking to audiences and encouraging them to follow in their own dreams and desires, believing in the one motto that she stand by, Take what you have and run with it, kick all obstacles out of your way, and then run a little faster... For anything is possible.
